Apples New Magic Trackpad, i7 iMac, Yum.

Posted by John Saddington on Jul 28, 2010

Apple released two new products recently (one new one, one updated) and I’m seriously considering making the jump.

The Magic Trackpad and the new Quad-core i7 are looking mighty fine.

Thoughts? I haven’t had a desktop computer in a long time…

And…

Wow.

I’m still thinking about getting a macbook pro with an i7 as a portable editing station, any reason why that would be a bad idea? Keep in mind that our HP laptop is like 8 years old and doensn’t even have wifi.

  2. I’m not quite sure why you would want to use a trackpad for a desktop computer.

Personally, I love the trackpad on my Macbook Pro and hoped for a desktop version. Glad to see they didn’t stop at the “Magic Mouse”. I’m also hoping it helps to relieve pain in my wrist too.

  4. I havent had a desktop in a while either but I am tempted to just dock my macbook pro and get a magic trackpad. They look so awesome.
