And being safe with your clicking is also pretty awesome too.

Don’t embarrass yourself by not being safe with your security and web apps, for your sake and mine.

Good passwords don’t stop users from typing their passwords into malicious sites, like the ones that have been making the twitter rounds. We can’t only preach good passwords and forget about user education.
In this case… twitter should have disallowed non-OAuth logins LONG ago.

Hahaha My roomates make fun of me for my 16 character password, but they dont get those type of messages from me so ha. I’ve gotten three of those exact same messages this week.

Happened to our pastor last week, prompting him to close out his Twitter account that we had just got him setup with a few weeks ago. Disheartening to see him give up on it because of this one instance, but incredibly embarrassing nonetheless.

  At least he tried it, my pastor won’t even consider it because “I don’t understand why anyone would do that” …
  I’ve tried educating him. Tried links that show positive uses of twitter / facebook / et al in ministry … !
